Overview
- WEB-O-THON is an event that tests your skills and embraces you to the world of web designing and web development by using multidimensional skills in HTML, CSS, PHP/JAVA/Python(or any other Backend language) along with teamwork.
Event Structure
- ROUND 1:
- The first round will include developing a front-end for the given project
- Participants can use any programming language/framework.
- ROUND 2:
- It includes integrating the backend with the previous web pages.
- And finally, presenting the whole project to the judges.
Rules
- The topic for the web page will be provided at the time of the competition.
- Participants must compulsorily come with their laptops.
- Participants are not allowed to bring any media devices such as pen drives, etc.
- Cell phones must be switched off
- The 1st round will be of 30 minutes, the 2nd round will be of 45 minutes and the final round will be of 60 minutes.
Judging Criteria
- Winners will be selected based on points. In the case of the same points, creativity, vision, time management, and their skills in programming will be considered
- The participation fee for a team of 2 participants is Rs 100.
- Winners will be awarded with cash and attractive prizes.
- Participation certificates will be given to every participant.
